By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not, do not create one.

What the service is

Linkoria reads the pages of a website you nominate, follows the outbound links on them to their real destinations, identifies which belong to affiliate networks, and reports what changed since the previous scan. It is a monitoring tool. It does not repair links, contact networks, or act on your behalf in any way.

Early access

Linkoria is in early access. It is free, no payment details are asked for, and there is nothing to cancel. In exchange, the service is provided as it stands: features may change or be withdrawn, limits may be adjusted, and interruptions are likely rather than exceptional. We may introduce paid plans later. We will not start charging an existing account without telling you first and giving you the choice.

Your account

• One account per person. Give a real email address — it is how the account is confirmed and how reports reach you.
• Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• You must be at least 18, or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
• Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

What you may scan

This is the one obligation that matters, because scanning reaches other people’s servers. You may submit a site only if you own it or are authorised by its owner to have it scanned. You are responsible for that authorisation, and for any consequence of scanning a site without it.

• Do not use Linkoria to load-test, disrupt, or degrade any site.
• Do not use it to collect personal data from the sites it reads.
• Do not use it for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Do not attempt to work around the limits of early access, resell the service, or run it on someone else’s behalf as a service of your own without asking us first.

The crawler identifies itself, honours robots.txt, and is rate limited — but none of that substitutes for the site owner’s permission.

Limits and retention

Early access carries limits on projects, pages per scan, scans per day, and how long results are kept. Scans and their exports are deleted 30 days after they run. That deletion is automatic and cannot be undone, so export anything you need to keep.

Availability and accuracy

We run Linkoria carefully but we do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or free of error. A scan may fail, may cover only part of a site, or may misread a link: destinations move, networks change their parameters, and a server can answer differently to us than to you. Results are information to act on, not a warranty about the state of your site or your earnings. Do not use them as the sole basis for a decision you cannot reverse.

Your data

The projects, scans and results in your account are yours. We process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy, and we do not sell them or use them to advertise to anyone. We may use aggregate figures that identify neither you nor your sites — how many links a typical scan finds, how often a scan fails — to understand and improve the product.

Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where liability is mandatory by law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes performance of this agreement possible in the first place and on which you may reasonably rely, and in that case only for the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of agreement. Any further liability is excluded. Liability for loss of data is limited to the effort that restoring it would have taken had you kept backups appropriate to the circumstances.

Ending it

You can stop using Linkoria whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account and everything in it. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — with notice where circumstances allow, immediately where they do not — and we may end early access altogether, in which case we will give you enough warning to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms where that is reasonably necessary — because the service changes, because the law or a security requirement does, or because early access itself moves on. We will tell registered users by email before a material change takes effect. A change that needs your agreement takes effect only if you give it, and you can close your account at any time.

Law and venue

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in.
